Brooks Bell, Founder of Lead From Behind, named Chief Influencer

The Communications Board names Brooks Bell, technology entrepreneur and founder of Leading From Behind, as a chief influencer.

In this episode, Chief Influencer’s host, Anthony Shop talks to Bell, who shares her journey from technology entrepreneur to patient advocate after being diagnosed with colon cancer at age 38.

Realizing the significant stigma surrounding the disease, Bell and her team at the Colorectal Cancer Alliance shifted their messaging to make colonoscopies more approachable and fun through their campaign "Lead From Behind."

Bell's latest venture, Worldclass Clothing, is a luxury apparel brand that aims to make colonoscopies more fun and on-trend while raising funds for underinsured communities to receive the procedure.

Bell emphasizes the importance of reframing the perception of colonoscopies as a positive experience and reducing the stigma through humor and open conversations about family health history.
