Refund & Cancellation Policies


Workshop Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation requests for all Communications Board workshops must be received at least 48 hours prior to the event. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations made 48 hours prior to a workshop. The Communications Board will not issue refunds within 48 hours of the workshop. Registration transfers are not available.

For any workshop registration refunds, a processing fee will be charged as follows:
For workshops with a registration fee of $100 or less, the processing fee is $10.
For workshops with a registration fee greater than $100, the processing fee is $25.

All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing via email. Other requests for cancellations and refunds, including verbal, will not be accepted.

The Communications Board reserves the right to alter event programs without notice. This includes the substitution, alteration, or cancellation of speakers, instructors, and/or topics. If an event is canceled, the Communications Board is not responsible for other expenses incurred by the participant.

Course Cancellation and Refund Policy
Course participants are eligible for a refund if the withdrawal request is received 14 days or more prior to the program start date, minus a $100 processing fee. Participants who request to withdraw within 14 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund.
