Nedra Dickson, Managing Director at Accenture, named Chief Influencer

 

The Communications Board names Nedra Dickson, Managing Director and Global Supplier Inclusion & Sustainability Lead at Accenture, as a Chief Influencer. 

Chief Influencer’s Anthony Shop speaks with Dickson about her role at Accenture, which has over 700,000 employees globally. During COVID-19, Accenture hired over 130,000 people who did not go into an office.

Dickson explains that Supplier Diversity focuses on working with small businesses and diverse-owned businesses in the supply chain. She also dives into Acenture's Supplier Diversity program and how it partners with diverse suppliers to find unique opportunities that may be overlooked by traditional procurement professionals.

Later in the episode, she explains how she leverages internal platforms within Accenture to amplify her message, as well as the importance of using the right language and tools to effectively communicate and engage with others. She highlights how LinkedIn can be used as a platform to connect with co-workers and share information within a large company like Accenture.
