Peggy Rajski, Trevor Project Founder, named Chief Influencer

 

The Communications Board names Peggy Rajski, Oscar-winning filmmaker and Founder of the Trevor Project, as a Chief Influencer. 

In this episode of Chief Influencer, Rajski shares with Anthony Shop shares how she came up with the idea for a suicide prevention hotline for LGBTQ+ youth. She explains why she chose film as her medium for telling stories and how it can make people feel things in ways that other mediums cannot. Rajski also describes how she launched The Trevor Project just five minutes before "Trevor" aired on HBO Family Channel.
