Virginia Ali, Co-founder of Ben's Chili Bowl, named Chief Influencer

The Communications Board names Virginia Ali, co-founder and matriarch of the iconic Ben’s Chili Bowl, as a chief influencer.

Ali emphasizes the warmth and hospitality that created a sense of belonging for over 40 years. Ali’s impact through kindness and a welcoming approach influenced thousands from various backgrounds, with her family business now operating for 66 years. 

Ali’s upbringing and experiences instilled in her a love for people and community engagement, contributing to the success of Ben's Chili Bowl and making it a symbol of resilience and hope, particularly during challenging times like riots and street closures.
